Sunset Orange bmw F87 m2 Competition

The team at German Autowerks (GAW) worked closely with the owner of the vehicle to develop and build the PERFECT custom BMW F87 M2 track car, accommodating every need and customer requirement, resulting in an unreal dream project, brought to reality by the GAW team!

Not only does it look flawless with its BMW Sunset Orange paint inside & out, big AP Racing Brakes and beautiful Forgeline Alloy Wheels with chunky centre cutouts, but it also has the grunt and usability to entirely dominate at the track! The customer was after a car that he can drive hard on a regular track/ testing day, but also wanted the mechanical and handling capabilities to use the car competitively in an endurance racing championship… and being a car that lives in Arizona… he wanted something he could drive from his house to the track on the road without a trailer!

What Involvement Did We Have?

GAW specialise in a variety of motorsport applications that are vital for producing functional and aesthetically pleasing track & race car builds. We are industry leaders in motorsport wiring loom strips, fire suppression system installation, fuel cell installation, dash/ interior modifications (to accommodate OEM trims following the installation of a roll cage).

We also carry out fabrication and fitting of all performance parts (inside and outside the car) including seats, exhausts, wheels, tyres, engine components, glazing, carbon fibre styling and functional components (splitters/ canards) & much more!

GAW can also oversee the entire build process of a project should the vehicle need to visit multiple companies for a variety of jobs.
